At ITNAC , we are dedicated to uplifting communities through various initiatives. Since our inception in 2002, we have focused on providing essential support in times of crisis and fostering sustainable development. Our projects range from post-disaster relief efforts to local empowerment programs, aimed at making a lasting impact in the lives of those we serve.

Houses Under Construction

Transitional Housing Support

Transitional housing has been at the heart of ITNAC's mission since inception. Our members have generously opened their homes and loaned properties to support individuals in need. As of May 2026, we oversee two fully dedicated transitional housing properties, along with a third partially utilized for this purpose — providing safe, stable accommodation for individuals who have lost their homes for a variety of reasons.

Post-Disaster Relief

ITNAC has been on the ground when it matters most. We first deployed to Dominica in 2015 following Hurricane Erika, and again in 2017 after Hurricane Maria alongside the Trinidad & Tobago Defence Force. In April 2026, we responded again after a trough system devastated the Kalinago Territory, shipping critical supplies in partnership with Response Caribbean. In 2025, we mobilised for Jamaica following Hurricane Melissa — coordinating containers of food, clothing, and essentials with partners including Amplia and the Judiciary of T&T. Since October 2025, our team has made over four trips to Jamaica, distributing 500 toys and 450 meals to families rebuilding their lives.

Migrant Community Support

ITNAC is committed to supporting the migrant community in Trinidad and Tobago. Through The Learning Space (LPS), located at our head office in St. James, we provide educational support primarily for migrant children, as well as local children navigating periods of transition. Our dedicated volunteer teachers give their time and expertise to ensure no child is left behind — creating a nurturing, inclusive environment where every child can learn, grow, and succeed.

Back-to-School DRIVE

We believe every child deserves to start the school year ready and confident. Our Back-to-School Drive, launched in April 2026, supports families who face financial strain as children return to school after the summer break. You can make a difference by donating a backpack (approx. USD $15–$20) via Amazon, shipped directly to our collection address by June 2, 2026. Financial contributions are also welcome via Cash App: $marionskeete. All donations are shipped to Trinidad and Tobago and distributed by ITNAC.

YOUTH DEVELOPMENT

ITNAC partners with Youths of Purpose (YOP) to help young people build meaningful relationships while learning the value of giving back. Through "D Space" — a safe, welcoming gathering place at our offices — members of YOP can connect, study, and find support as they navigate adolescence. We provide mentorship and counselling, and in December 2025, we joined YOP to distribute 100 hampers and 95 toys to families in the rural community of Palo Seco.

COMMUNITY

We are proud to introduce the Keisha T. Edwards City Outreach Centre, soon to open at Jackson Place, East Port of Spain. This walk-in day centre will serve homeless and vulnerable individuals with dignity — offering nutritious meals, shower facilities, clothing assistance, internet access, private counselling rooms, and a fully functional kitchen and dining area.
